“The Heart of Dixie” is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Danielle Bradbery. She’s better known for winning the American Talent Show The Voice in its fourth season. The song co-written by Brett James (who co-wrote Carrie Underwood’s hit single and Grammy winning “Jesus Take the Wheel“), Caitlyn Smith (who co-wrote Cassadee Pope’s lead single “Wasting All These Tears“) and Troy Verges (who co-wrote Carrie Underwood’s hit single “Wasted” and Hunter Hayes’ smash single “Wanted“).
The single was released on digital retailers on July 16 via Universal Republic Nashville. This track comes after the release of The Voice’s winning single “Born to Fly“, released in June 19. The music video directed by Shane Drake was premiered on VEVO on Septembe 23rd.
