One Direction “Kiss You” (Video Premiere – Alternate Version)

One Direction - Kiss You (2013) - 1500x1500Kiss You” is a song recorded by British-Irish boy band One Direction. The track written by Swedish writing camp consisting of Kristoffer Fogelmark, Kristian Lundin, Albin Nedler, Rami Yacoub, Savan Kotecha and Carl Falk with a uptempo production helmed by Yacoub and Falk is the official third single taken from their sophomore album “Take Me Home” that was released on digital retailers on November 9, 2012 via Syco and Columbia Records. The song utilizes a metronome and combines elemens of dance-pop, power pop and teen pop.

The music video directed by Vaughan Arnell was premiered on VEVO on January 7, 2013. Arnell had previously directed the band’s music videos for hit single “Live While We’re Young” and “Little Things“. A preview of the video was posted on a “Take Me Home” commercial on the British market on December 2012. The One Direction blokes are essentially matinee idols in this charming, yet perfect tribute to old-school Hollywood mythmaking. The set-ups range from Jailhouse Rock to Beach Blanket Blanket and a ski section that I like to think is inspired by Hot Dog: The Movie. The single was released on iTunes on February 8, 2013.

The guys prmiered another version of the music video on VEVO on March 27th, 2013. The video is made by the outtakes of the official video recording.

The guys performed the single for the first time on TV on The X Factor Final Show on December 9, 2012.
