Icona Pop “Ready for the Weekend” (featuring The Cataracs) [Free Download]

Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo are back, they are notably known by their stage name Icona Pop. The Swedish girls attack again after the success of their hit single “I Love It” and “We Got the World“, the new track entitled “Ready for the Weekend” is the second promotional single from the American market and third overall taken from their self-titled debut album “Icona Pop” that was released on digital retailers on November 14, 2012 through Mercury Records and Universal Music. The international version of the single has the collaboartion of American Hip-Hop Indie-Pop band The Cataracs. The original version of the track was released on September 11, 2012 as a promotional single. This new version is scheduled for release later this month or early February.

Once again, the girls demonstrated an outstanding mastery in composing and creating wonderful pieces of electronic music.

The single will be released on U.S. market as The Cataracs’ single and featuring the collaboration of Icona Pop. The guys give the track for free download via Soundcloud.
