“Music Is the Weapon” is the upcoming fourth studio album by American production team Major Lazer. It’s scheduled to be released during this summer via Interscope Records as the follow-up to 2015’s “Peace Is the Mission“.
The first promotional/buzz single was the track “Lost“ featuring MØ, which was released in late-July in 2016. A new track with the vocals of Sia was exclusively premiered during episode 11th of Major Lazer’s season one of their animated series on June 25th.
During an interview with Billboard at iHeartRadio Music Festival backstage, Diplo confirmed that he has been working with The Weekend, Sia and Travi$ Scott. Diplo confirmed some details of Major Lazer’s next album during an interview with 103.3 (AMP) radio.

Diplo confirmed in late March via Snapchat, that he worked in the studio with Fifth Harmony’s member Camila Cabello for Major Lazer’s next project.
“Cold Water“ with the collaboration of Justin Bieber (again) and MØ (again) was released on July 22nd.
During a recent interview on Zane Lowe’s show at Beats 1, Diplo has revealed that Major Lazer’s album includes collaborations with Usher, Sam Hunt, Travis Scott, as well as possibly Tove Lo and Tinashe.
The anticipated collaboration along Showtek called “Believer” was released on September 30th. The next official single called “Run Up“, includes the guest collaboration of Nicki Minaj and PARTYNEXTDOOR and it was launched on Friday, January 27th.
During a recent interview with Billboard, Diplo confirmed some exciting collaborations on this new project including Ariana Grande, Tinashe and Wale. He also said the album arrives this summer.
