Norwegian rising pop star Adelén is ready to start promoting her new single and official Stadium Anthem for the 2014 FIFA World Cup entitled ‘Olé‘. Following the release of ‘Always On My Mind‘, the singer filmed the music video for the FIFA song.
The video was directed by Norwegian director based in Los Angeles Ray Kay and it’s estimated to be one of the most expensive videos ever made by a Norwegian act, costing 800,000 Norwegian Kroner (about $135,000). It was premiered on VEVO on May 24th.
The Stadium Anthem mix of the song was premiered on May 8th. ‘Olé‘ contains a sample of Steam’s 1969 hit single ‘Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye‘. Same sampler used by American recording artist Kristinia DeBarge on her smash debut single ‘Goodbye‘ (2009).
