Maroon 5 vs. Alesso “This Summer” (Single Premiere)

To support their world tour, the guys of American band Maroon 5 released a brand new single called “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like a Motherfucker” on iTunes on May 15th.

The new song was included on the band’s fifth studio album “V“, released on 29 August 2014 via 222 and Interscope the same day of its premiere.

“This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like a Motherfucker” premiered exclusively via iHeart Radio is a great, pretty catchy and overwhelming production with a sound reminiscent of the American band Cobra Starship.

The music video directed by Travis Schneider and Adam Levine was premiered on Sunday May 31st.

It’s not an instant radio hit but I’m sure it will be one of my favorites summer growers this year. They’re back and eager to lead the charts this summer!

A special remix of the single made by Swedish Alesso, trying to emulate the success of OneRepublic’s “If I Lose Myself“ was released on digital retailers on June 29th.
