When you think of One Direction, the immediate names that come into your minds would probably be Zayne Malik and Harry Styles. But remember that they are not the only ones who make up the legendary 21st-century boyband – there’s also Niall Horan.
After his appearance in and a successful gig at Saturday Night Live, Niall Horan is gearing up for his North American Nice To Meet Ya 2020 tour. So yes, Niall Horan is another One Direction cutie-pie, and now he’s back!
Horan rose to popular stardom as one of the members of One Direction until the boyband has collapsed, and members went on separate ways in recent memory. After the devastating break up of the group, he released his solo debut album Flicker in October 2017. His single “Slow Hands,” peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. Besides, “Slow Hands” and “This Town,” other popular Horan songs include his singles “Too Much to Ask,” “On the Loose,” and “Seeing Blind.” He becomes the third member of the group to have an album at number one.
In his Saturday’s SNL performance, Horan took the audience to church with his first selection, “Nice to Meet Ya,” which he previously performed at the 2019 MTV EMAs. Meanwhile, things become more emotional after he ditched his guitar, sat down on a stool, and sang a soulful rendition of “Put A Little Love On Me,” with the melancholic background music from live piano and violins.
