Una Healy “The Waiting Game” | “Battlelines” (Video Premiere)

“The Waiting Game” is the debut solo album by Irish singer-songwriter Una Theresa Imogene Foden, well, or best know as former member of The Saturdays Una Healy. It was released on February 10, 2017 via Decca Records and Universal Music.

The first single was announced the Sam Palladio-assisted track “Stay My Love“, but it was finally released as the second single from the album in January. Before, The Voice of Ireland coach has debuted the album’s title track “The Waiting Game” as her first promotional single.

The song is a country-flavoured piece which reminds somehow to country diva Miranda Lambert. It was released on digital retailers and streaming services on October 28th as instant grat along the pre-order of the album.

Another album’s track “Staring at the Moon” was debuted live for the first time during The Voice of Ireland the results show on April 17th. The music video of track “Battlelines”, directed by Oscar Sansom was premiered May 5th.

After the unfair flop of her bandmate Mollie King, will this country style more successful? Maybe she wants to make the leap to the American market.
