Alvaro Soler “El mismo sol (Under the Same Sun)” [featuring Jennifer Lopez] {B-Case Remix / Video Premiere}

Spanish singer-songwriter and emerging new artist Alvaro Soler has impacted the music world with his infectious and good feeling pop anthem “El mismo sol” (English: “The Same Sun“).

The track is confirmed as the lead single from Soler’s debut studio album “Eterno Agosto” (English: Eternal August), which was released on June 12th, only in Italy, via Triebel & Zuckowski, Airforce1 Records and Universal Music.

The unexpected success has come when after the official release of the single on digital retailers on May 8, the song is No. 1 on iTunes Italy and has become one of the most added tracks this week in Italia.

The Barcelona-based artist debuted the music video directed by Daniel Eceolaza on April 24th. What is the secret of this success? Easy. It’s a catchy song, with a Mediterranean air and influence of Latino-Spanish folk rhythms. The infectious and interesting percussion make it a true anthem for this summer.

During her 46th B’Day party on July 25th at 1 OAK Southampton club, American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez premiered a special new version of the song with her vocals. This Spanglish remix serves as the international version to launch the song into the American and British market.
