The Recording Academy has announced Wednesday all the nominees for the 2020 Grammy Awards. A prestigious award-giving body in the music industry, the Grammys has been an authority when it comes to music. This year, the Academy has not disappointed fans all over the world as it made history with Billie Eilish being the youngest artist to be nominated in all four of the major categories in the event.
The Grammy Awards 2020 announcement night will air on January 26, 2020 on CBS and fans are expecting a whole lot of spectacle for the next ceremony as the nomination is led by first-time nominee, Lizzo, who garnered the most nominations with eight nods. The flute-playing, body positivity advocate is followed in a tie by Eilish and Lil Nas X, both with six nominations.
Alicia Keys is confirmed to host the ceremony for the second year in a row, making her the third woman and the first female musician to host the event twice.
